The Phantasia
Ensemble is a new musical collaboration that brings together the music and
stories of Japan and the British Isles. Japanese
concert pianist Haruko Seki and British born soprano Carollyn Eden draw on their very different cultural heritages, exploring both traditional music and stories, and treasured works by composers and writers. Both passionate about music's ability to cross cultural divides and draw people together from the most different backgrounds, they celebrate the uniqueness and similarity between these two cultures so many miles apart.
